We understand this must be a very busy time in your life, but please remember to enroll your baby with your insurance as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after your baby’s birth date. Your baby is usually covered by the mother’s insurance for the first 30 days of life but there are exceptions too so please verify with your insurance. If the baby is not enrolled within 30 days, then the services rendered on day 31 and after will NOT BE COVERED and you will be asked to PAY AT TIME OF SERVICE.
In order to enroll your new baby with your insurance, you usually have to contact your employer or your partner’s employer to fill out the appropriate forms. It often takes some time to process all the paperwork. Hence, you should do this as soon as possible in order to ensure that your baby will be covered.
After you enrolled your baby, please provide us a copy of your baby’s health plan ID card for our records
